Delicious food, friendly service and very reasonable. Went the extra mile with my 4 year old son. Thanks for a lovely evening. We look forward to eating here again!
The recent refurbishment and up-grade has meant the new-look Grey Horse can call itself a gastro-pub. The food was superb, the ambience is really cool and it still feels like the old Grey Horse as it retains the old charm but is pretty swanky. I had the veggie option which was superb. All the real ales served in the pub are available in the restaurant and there is a good wine list. I feel it’s going to become a regular haunt.
I have been to this establishment several times before but this time I got the surprise of my life, the place has undergone a major refurb. The interior is stylish warm and well served by the owners wife and staff. The chef apparently worked as a chef in one of Donald Trumps venues over here and my goodness what a find. The food was first class, well ptesented and from a well thought out menu which had something for everyone.the burgers which three of us had were hand made and absolutely delicious.the wife had the haddock and hand cut chips which looked and tasted great. There was also a good selection of real ales and other more known brands. This is a place which will sell itself through quality food ,a welcoming atmosphere and good ale.The menus from what I can gather will be changed regularly and that will keep it interesting on a food level whilst the varieties of beers they bring in will suit those like myself who love real ales.In conclusion the number of customers they are getting speaks volumes, this will be a very trendy place to go so I would advise booking to avoid disappointment, you will notbe disappointed!
A quintessential burger, definitely home made; one of the largest burgers that I have had the pleasure of tasting Lovely decor, nice ambience will definitely be back.
So friendly and welcomly. We had a 7 month old and a 5 yr old both made very welcome and accommodating with the food and breast feeding. Great little Sunday carvery with crisp roast Duck and super rare, medium or well done Beef. Sticky toffee pudding yum so was the melt in the mouth bread and butter pudding. Get down there!
Great wee local pub with real ale and guest beer’s. Great restaurant open lunch and dinner. Friendly helpful staff and dog friendly.
Fantastic evening meal tonight. Menu had a really good selection of dishes.we had starter of Cullen skink which was a wee bit different from ones I have had before.this one was one was very smooth with no lumps of fish which did not affect the delicious taste.main meal was smoked haddock which was lovely served with mashed tatties with mustard thro it, yummy. Wine is not overpriced with a good selection. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff. It has only been open a few weeks and everyone is still learning things but I cannot recommend this place enough. Well done everyone at The Grey Horse.
The Grey Horse Inn has recently been renovated and they’ve added a restaurant. We enjoyed a lovely meal there at a very reasonable price. The service was attentive and the food was excellent.
