In the public bar there is evidence to support our reputation for keeping an excellent selection of real ales! Poems, pictures of local history and recent social events adorn the walls and we offer a warm welcome to both locals and visitors.
The bar is cosy, full of character (and full of characters!) and when the weather is chilly there is always has a warm fire which helps us get through the winter months.
We also have “Red Wine Gorden’s” Charity Bookshelves, where you can pick up a book for 50p.
The public bar is also dog friendly, so feel free to drop in while walking the dog – only to warm up a little of course!
